BTCL and UCC Empower 50 Faculty Members with STEM Training

In July 2025, BTCL, in collaboration with the University of Cape Coast (UCC) College of Education, successfully delivered a two-week transformational STEM professional development training for 50 faculty members.

The program equipped participants with modern strategies for teaching STEM, robotics, and AI, emphasizing hands-on learning and digital innovation. By strengthening teacher capacity, BTCL aims to ensure that Ghanaian classrooms are prepared to nurture students who are critical thinkers, problem solvers, and innovators.

The training marks another milestone in BTCL’s partnership with Ghana Education Service and the Ministry of Education, aligning with national priorities to advance STEM education.

Faculty members expressed their enthusiasm for integrating these approaches into their teaching, highlighting the potential to inspire future engineers, scientists, and AI leaders.

This initiative reflects BTCL’s commitment to building teacher excellence as the foundation for sustainable STEM advancement in Ghana.
